Easy?

"It doesn't get easier, does it?"

Her honest and raw question makes me pause to think.  We sit and pray, hands clenched.  All the pain around us weighs down on our hearts...and so we turn it over to the Glorious, All-Powerful One.

When you love deeply, you hurt deeply.  It's a fact of life.

But you know...loving...and hurting...have a way of sanctifying.

They both have a way of making our hearts dependent,
and the older I get, the more I realize dependence is a good thing.
When it's on HIM.

So what is my goal?

Easy?

Or Sanctified?  Dependent on the Spirit's power?

Our Love Story (Part 3)

(Missed the earlier installments?  The story starts here:  Our Love Story-Part One ) A week and a half after our first meeting, I was sitting at my desk at work, and had just told KJ to pray I would hear from him soon. Wait, When did those eyes staring back at me change? When did the girl become a woman? There's a story behind her eyes. Was it when she realized love hurts... But is still SO worth it? When the world became a little more black than white? Was it when life became a series of routine days? When joy became a choice? Or, I know, When the perfect walls came crashing down?
