Mama Lessons One
I've been thinking recently that I should try to write some more during this unique and interesting time we find ourselves in. Not sure what all of that will look like exactly, but I decided today maybe I'd start a series called "Mama Lessons." I've found that motherhood often has much to teach me. Some lessons encouraging, some rather challenging! Recently I've been thinking some about Psalm 131. It goes: "O Lord, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes haughty; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me. Surely I have composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child rests against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child within me. O Israel, hope in the LORD From this time forth and forever."
