An Overview of 2013: May

May:

5~Lord,
Does it break Your heart when people use Your name in vain?
Does it break Your heart when a cold shoulder is turned?
Does it break Your heart when Your people don’t live in unity?
Does it break Your heart when a child doesn’t have a loving home? 
Lord, I want to be a woman after Your own heart!  Give me eyes, I pray, to see what You see in this world.  Break my heart with what breaks Yours.

7~When we think of asking in another’s name, what does that mean?
  • We are asking for them, not ourselves (asking for a paycheck written to another person)
  • They have trusted us to represent them.

8~Enable me to love You wholeheartedly, to love others supernaturally, and to daily die to self.

10~Mold and shape me into a Spirit led individual.

17~Find rest oh my soul, in God alone…

19~Make me a woman, Lord, who is so steeped and saturated in Your Words, that only You flow out of me!

20~Who is my God?
He is . . .
·         The Creator of this world.
·         Perfect and Holy.
·         The Lover of my soul.
·         Mighty over all.
·         The Giver of life.
·         The One who spoke the stars into existence.
·         My Sustainer.
·         The One who empowers me/lives in me.
·         Joy!
·         My Savior.
·         King of kings.
·         Worthy of all affection.
·         Beyond what my words can describe!

Hope . . . I love that word!  It's a word that brings so much life & joy, but only when it's used rightly. Our Love Story (Part 3)

(Missed the earlier installments?  The story starts here:  Our Love Story-Part One ) A week and a half after our first meeting, I was sitting at my desk at work, and had just told KJ to pray I would hear from him soon. (Or maybe I just needed patience?) Opening my facebook messages I discovered one that started with, "Dear Allison," And the rest is history. The Story Behind Her Eyes

Wait, When did those eyes staring back at me change? When did the girl become a woman? There's a story behind her eyes. Was it when she realized love hurts... But is still SO worth it? When the world became a little more black than white? Was it when life became a series of routine days? When joy became a choice? Or, I know, When the perfect walls came crashing down?
