As I was pondering what my life has looked like of late, it made me think of the words to this song.  Lately when people ask me how I am, my response has been, "life is interesting," and it is.  There are a LOT of unknowns in my life right now, and to be quite frank I don't like unknowns.  
However, I'm thinking I need to change my perspective.  See, I've been looking at my life and focusing on where it's going to take me.  When instead, I should be focusing on Jesus, following Him "every step of the way, through the joy and the pain."  
Jesus is truly all we need, and He is worth living for.  I know that, the challenge comes in the day to day living it out.  But life is . . . a journey, it's a process, a collection of seasons, a series of stages.  Call it what you want, it's going from one thing to the next and not always knowing what the next step is.  I'm thankful I don't have to live my life in a day.  This journey is a time to grow and learn!  And one day, one day I will see my Jesus, and He will perfect the work He has started in me. :)  
Jesus IS the answer and the meaning of life . . . true words.  May they soak into our souls and echo in the inner rooms of our hearts until HE is the truest and deepest desire we have.
I'm learning these days to keep my eyes on Jesus and to find joy in Him even when my heart hurts.  That's the best kind of joy, because it's a joy so overwhelming that when you just want to cry, it's still there.  It's a joy that can still be there in the midst of tears.  Jesus' joy, His peace, they're not joy and peace of this world, and that's why my eyes need to be on Him--not on the temporary things of this world.

Our Love Story (Part 3)

Wait, When did those eyes staring back at me change? When did the girl become a woman? There's a story behind her eyes. Was it when she realized love hurts... But is still SO worth it? When the world became a little more black than white? Was it when life became a series of routine days? When joy became a choice? Or, I know, When the perfect walls came crashing down?
